Finding the Best Options

Most parents want a top rated School or Program for their Teen. But they also would like to keep cost as low as possible. Our objective is to show you places that do both.

5 things we look at when recommending a School or Program:

1. Top Ratings: Does it have Top Ratings with Independent Entities like the Better Business Bureau and its Academic Accrediation.

2. Warranty: Does the School or Program stand behind their effectiveness with a written Warranty?

3. Dual Credits: Does the School offer Dual Credits? If your child is 16 or over, you will want a School that have Academic courses where students can earn both High School and College credits for the same course work. If a student can earn some college credits while in the program that saves the parents a lot of money for college later so it is like getting double the value.

4. Non-Profit: Non-Profit Schools or Programs can usually save you money. Since Non-Profit entities can subsidize their cost through donations, fund raisers, and corporate sponsors they are able to keep their cost as low as possible for parents. Furthermore because they do not need to add profits into their tuition, that in itself can save parents 20-30% on the tuition.

5. Flexible Enrollment: Is the Enrollment flexible or are you tied into a long term contract or large time and money commitments? Flexible Enrollment means you can enroll for as long as needed but do not have to spend any more money or time than absolutely required. This can save you quite a bit of money. Furthermore, if an option is not working but you are tied into a time commitment it can be difficult to change directions.

We do the research for you and can direct you to the best Options available.

60-Day Options

There are some good high intensity 60 day programs for Struggling Teens. These options can save Teens and their Families a lot of time, hardship, disruption, grief and money. In fact, there are usually only a fraction of the cost of most other options.

There are even some 60 day options that stand behind its Results with a Warranty* where if any Teen after completing the 60-day Program slips back into past attitudes or behaviors after returning home anytime before reaching age 18, they may be re-enrolled in a 30-day refresher course absolutely FREE.

Also a 60 day option creates a flexible enrollment which means students can be enrolled at any time and for any additional length of time. After the first 60-days, students may stay on for whatever additional time is needed or preferred whether it's a month, several months, a year or even longer. This makes enrollment flexible and individualized. Parents aren't held to lengthy contracts, time commitments, or large financial obligations. Parents only pay for what time is absolutely needed but no more. This is a tremendous additional benefit.

Low Cost Options

Most parents want really good services but would also like to keep cost as low as possible. Our objective is to show you Schools and Programs that do that.

Non Profit Options are ideal for this because they can subsidize their cost through donations, corporate sponsors, and fundraiser. Thereby reducing the cost to parents. Furthermore, Non-profit Schools do not need to add profits into their tuition and fees. This can often save parents 20-30 % by itself. All of these savings allow Non Profit Options to operate programs at the lowest possible cost for Families.

Equally Important is that Non Profit options often provide better services. This is because Non Profit organizations motivation can be to do what is best for Teens instead of what is best for profits. This creates a huge difference in the delivery of services and the focus given to Teens. This gives families the best possible situation when it comes to the care and services given to their Teen.

For these reasons, Non Profit Options can usually give your child better services at significantly less cost!

Let us tell you about the Low Cost or Non Profit Options available to you!

2-12 Month Options

We recommend Schools and Programs that have a Flexible enrollment. This means your child's enrollment term is individualized with no long term contracts or large time and money commitments. It can be as short as 2 months or as long as 12 months or even longer. You enroll for as long as needed but do not have to spend any more money or time than required. You only pay for what time you absolutely need and no more. This can save you quite a bit of money.

Furthermore, if a School or Program is not working for your Teen but you are tied into a certain time commitment making a change can be difficult if not impossible. Flexible enrollments allow you to try an option and then change anytime you want without penalties. On the other hand if the option is working you can stay with it as long as you want but no longer than you need to, there are no contract barriers. We recommend parents keep this flexibility.

Warranty

We recommend Schools or Programs that stand behind their effectiveness by providing a Warranty. This is very important to us as well as the parents that we serve.

A typical Warranty provides a FREE 30-day “refresher” course, if the student slips back in to past attitudes or behaviors anytime after enrollment ends and before their 18th birthday. While there are some conditions that apply, this can create an important, additional value to parents. For example: a Warranty can also create some significant, on going motivation for the Teen to maintain proper standards and behaviors upon returning home while providing parents additional leverage and options.

Let us tell you about the School or Programs that provide a Warranty.

Dual Credits

We highly recommend Schools that offer dual credits. This is when Schools have courses where students can earn both High School and College Credits for the same course work . Very few Schools or Programs have this option but it provides a significant value. Teens who qualify are enrolled in these courses and there is some tutoring available if needed to help them succeed. If a Teen can earn some college credits while in the program it will save their parents a lot of money for college later so it is like getting double the value.

Let us show you the Schools that have this option.
